Refund & Cancellation Policy

Last updated 25 August 2026

Everything Nuclei sells is digital content, downloaded or accessed immediately. This policy explains your right to cancel, when that right ends, and what happens if something is wrong with what you bought.

Your 14-day right to cancel

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel and receive a full refund.

When that right ends early

Because the materials are available to you straight away, we ask you at checkout to confirm two things before payment is taken:

  • that you want access to begin immediately, rather than waiting 14 days; and
  • that you understand you lose your right to cancel once access begins.

If you tick that box and we give you access, your 14-day cancellation right ends at that point and the purchase is non-refundable on a change of mind. If you would rather keep your cancellation right, do not tick it — contact us instead and we will hold your order.

If something is wrong

Losing the right to change your mind does not affect your statutory rights. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, digital content must be of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described. If what you received is faulty, incomplete, inaccessible, or materially different from its description, you are entitled to a repair, a replacement, or a refund — and we will sort it out.

Practical examples: a file that will not download or open, missing pages, content that does not cover what the product page said it covers, or being charged twice.

How to ask

Email hello@nucleibiology.co.uk from the address you used to buy, telling us what you bought and what has gone wrong. We reply within two working days.

Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 14 days. Refunds are processed through Stripe; how quickly the money appears is up to your bank.

Being reasonable about it

This is a small independent business, not a faceless one. If you have a genuine problem, tell us — we would far rather fix it or refund you than have you feel short-changed. Refunds may be declined where materials have been shared or redistributed in breach of the licence in our terms.
